Ice-skating Mouse

Mouse was made by me on my Singer treadle machine using a Kentucky Primitives pattern. She is made from Osnaburg fabric which has been painted with acrylics, sanded and dyed with coffee. Her jacket has also been made in the same way. Her ice-skates are made from little sticks, and the message attached to her jacket with a rusty pin reads, 'Tis the season to be jolly'. She is a one-of-a-kind and is currently available in the folksy shop. SOLD
Just a reminder that you can see me at Nostell Priory Autumn Fair, nr Wakefield next weekend. Sarah x

Christmas Puddings

These Christmas puddings look good enough to eat, but they are actually made from muslin! They smell divine with their coating of strong coffee and cinnamon, and muslin wrappings (which have also been dyed with coffee). The holly leaves and berries are all hand-made too!
